Waiting...

Yep...that is what we are up to now - waiting for baby...we are down to weekly doctor visits and as of Monday, Jaimie was not dilated yet...her official due date is still the 22nd, but they have been telling us for a while that she will probably go early...now they have backed off and keep reminding us that the first kid is almost always late...this all leads me to the conclusion that the docs are really just guessing...oh well - I guess the little one will arrive when it feels like coming out...I just hope it will decide soon for Jaimie's sake - she is pretty much done with the whole pregnancy thing right now...

It is actually nice to take a breather after the crazy fall we had - we both felt like we haven't sat down since vacation in July...we went from closing on the house in early August to a hectic week of painting and getting settled before I had to go up to campus for a week...then we had Meghan & Luke's wedding over Labor Day weekend which was immediately and unfortunately followed by Jaimie's Grandpa being hospitalized and eventually passing...my travel season started the week after the funeral and at the same time I was helping out my folks as they prepared to move/sell the family farm...yeah - pretty intense...just as this situation was coming to a close, I began working on the baby's room along with continuing to be extremely busy with NMU activities...but by now the baby's room is complete (and looks pretty nice I might add) and the Christmas decs are up and ready just in case baby decides to come early...like I said - it is kind-of nice to take a breather....

So be on the look out for baby pics to be my next post - hopefully sooner rather than later...
