Well the price was definitely right...found this beauty for free on Craig's List (coincedentally located across the bay from M&D's place) and picked it up this weekend. Needs a motor, controls, and some major TLC but hopefully by next summer will be water-ready! Cross your fingers!

A lot of firsts...Been very busy around the Ament house over the past few weeks...Charlie had cereal for the first time, he had his first haircut today (long overdue in my opinion...), and oh yeah - I replaced a water heater for the first time (at least the mystery of the water in our basement has been solved...fun times). Pumpkin Carving at the Ament house...Noah experienced his first pumpkin carving last night...he had to help (of course) and actually did a good job lending a hand to Daddy...the end result on the big pumpkin was all his choice - glad to see he knows his shapes! Exciting news...For those of you who might have not yet heard, Jaimie is expecting Baby #2 in January!! We were very cautious and nervous at first given the events that unfolded this past January, but now that she is in week 16 we are very hopeful that this pregnancy will be carried to term...Jaim has been feeling pretty sick in the later afternoon/evening hours but we take that as a good sign..
